Aged care brings jobs, services to Eden in NSW

Close to 90 jobs are expected to be available in Eden as the aged care facility in Barclay Street progresses towards completion.

Innovative Care, the company constructing and operating the facility, reports a good number of enquiries and expects to begin the recruitment process in the next four or five weeks.

Director Graeme Croft said health care is “not only providing a new industry for Eden but is also fulfilling a social need. We expect to be recruiting fairly constantly over the coming months as the facility grows.” 

He said recurrent federal funding would cover much of the expense of wages.

Doctors from  the local  medical clinic have been shown through the facility and talked about processes, and how they would work through cases including issues like management and processes between sites such as computer links.
