ACT Health Corporate Plan for senior Canberrans

The ACT Health Corporate Plan for 2010-12 includes specific plans for senior Canberrans. The objective is that older consumers receive high quality, affordable heath services that are appropriate to their needs and enable choice and seamless, timely transitions.
The ways to do this are described as follows:
- Expand appropriate care options in line with needs and aspirations of ageing population.
- Provide continuity of care across hospitals, community and aged care to smooth consumer transitions.
- Develop care options for older consumers with dementia and mental health issues, including aggressive behaviours indicators.
