Women have long been admirers of diamonds, but there now may be another reason why the fairer sex are enchanted by the sparkly gem.
Scientists have discovered diamonds could hold anti-ageing properties which may help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. As a result, last month’s UK release of a diamond-infused cream is reportedly selling fast with more than four million people purchasing the ‘god-send’ product in just one day.
The cream reportedly decreases the depth of wrinkles by 30% and boosts collagen levels in the skin in just one month of using the product.
The moisturiser, created by German television presenter and opera singer Judith Williams, contains diamagen, which are real diamond particles, that may help to give the skin an “instant radiance and glow”.
Diamagen works by targeting the base of the skin’s epidermis, and strengthens and stimulates collagen.
The cream also contains three anti-wrinkle peptides, or amino acids, which reportedly prevent collagen breakdown and helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
While it has been described as a “miracle cream”, the Judith Williams Luxury Diamond cream is said to be cost-effective and now has a waiting list of more than one million people who long for sparkly, glowing skin.
