$3.6m upgrade boosts aged care in northern Tas
The newly-refurbished $3.6 million Presbyterian Homes Norwood boosts aged and dementia care in northern Tasmania.
The renovated premises provide residential aged care for 80 people. It comprises 21 new units, including a Safer Care Unit for people with dementia and challenging behaviours.
The front entrance has also been upgraded, along with the reception, administration, car parking, chapel and staff room areas. The dining room, laundry and kitchen have also been refurbished.
The residence is operated by Launceston Presbyterian Homes for the Aged Inc.
