Spectrum’s Assistance with Care and Housing program (ACH) offers support to low income vulnerable people aged 50 years and over who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We provide assistance to eligible people seeking to access appropriate and affordable housing and also help to link them with community care and other support services where required.
Our staff may be able to assist you in applying for housing if you are experiencing the following:
- If you are renting but unable to remain in the property because of health issues
- If you are asked to move out of your accommodation
- If you are experiencing family breakdown
- If you need to be close to your family for health care reasons.
Access and Support
The Access and Support program is provides support to Home And Community Care (HACC) eligible people living in the north and west of metropolitan Melbourne. Access and Support assists people who have complex needs, due to cultural or other diversity, to achieve improved access to vital services. The term diversity recognises that each person is unique and has different beliefs, values, preferences & life experiences, and that this can sometimes be a barrier to accessing services. Our experienced staff can assist by providing short term episodic support from initial contact, through to identifying needs, making assessments and assisting with care planning so that clients can access the help they need.
Visit our website to learn more about our access and support services or contact us by phone or email for more information.
