Located in the Western suburb of North Plympton, Bucklands is set in and around the historic mansion built in 1882 by wine merchant AE Tolley.
Today Bucklands is home to 147 residents in an environment designed to support their needs. Registered & Enrolled Nurses, supported by Personal Care Assistants, are available 24 hours a day to provide individualised, contemporary nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes.
Residents enjoy light and bright single rooms with ensuite and couples can be accommodated. Respite and memory support services are also available.
This is a culture of service providing residents with a wider choice of meals, a physical environment with enhanced recreational and communal areas, and more variety in lifestyle choices.
Multi denominational pastoral care services and a quiet chapel are available. There is also a library, hairdressing and beauty therapy salon, Men’s Shed and a café.
