What services does the Hydrotherapy Pool offer?
Aquatic Physiotherapy is offered in the hydrotherapy pool. This is a specific physiotherapy technique which combines the properties of warm water with the knowledge and skills of the physiotherapist.
Aquatic Physiotherapy has evidence-based benefits for improving pain, function, joint mobility, strength and balance. The combination of warmth, buoyancy and gentle resistance make hydrotherapy effective in managing conditions such as arthritis, chronic pain, Multiple Sclerosis, spinal injuries, orthopedic injuries and neurological conditions, e.g. stroke.
