St Andrew's Village is a place of warmth, friendliness and tranquility providing high quality care based on the Christian principles of love and care for each individual.
Our village currently comprises 30 self care townhouses, 176 low level care rooms (including eight dementia specific) and four respite rooms. We are now offering respite in our day centre, funded by the Australian Government, through the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).
We have two and three-bedroom townhouses, all of which have a courtyard, laundry, ensuite and a fully equipped kitchen. Most have internal access from the garage.
The hostel is designed to provide a homey and natural atmosphere so that residents can maintain their individuality, privacy and dignity. Residents are accommodated in single rooms with ensuites.
We aim to provide all levels of care, including dementia and palliative care, to our residents so that, as far as possible, there is no need for them to move to any other facility.
Hostel staff are rostered over a 24-hour period to provide personal care, all meals and laundry.
Residents are encouraged to maintain their independence and contribute to the life of the Village. A regular, varied and extensive activity program is offered including bus outings and participation in community events.
Additional services include: Hairdresser, Chaplain, weekly church services, kiosk, and medical services including physiotherapy, podiatry and visiting General Practitioners.
Communal lounges and secure courtyards are available for residents to meet for social gatherings with family and friends.
