Serving our Community
Onkaparinga Valley Residential Care (OVRC) is situated in the lovely Adelaide Hills township of Woodside and cater specifically for people living in the surrounding areas, creating a quality lifestyle for all.
OVRC took over the old district hospital in September 2000 with 25 high care residents. The local community played a big part in making this happen and they have continued their support of the residents and the organisation. The old district hospital has changed dramatically since then, with state of the art new extensions and facilities.
We believe that our residents deserve and have a right to quality care with assistance to feel as independent as possible. OVRC offers options and supports the individual's choice(s). Staff respect and treat each person as an individual, maintain their dignity and act as the person's advocate for quality of a chosen lifestyle. We believe it is important to work closely with residents, their families and the health team, to provide the best outcome for residents physical and emotional needs.
OVRC has very friendly and supportive staff who are dedicated to continuing to work to improve the lifestyle of all the residents. Referral to OVRC is through the Aged Care Assessment Team. If you would like to discuss placement or other issues, please telephone, fax or email the Director of Care.
