It has 88 newly renovated bedrooms, including single rooms or couples accommodation and all with ensuites bathrooms and generous built-in wardrobes.
There is a dynamic and engaging activities program and residents are encouraged to catch up with friends and family at the on-site café with al fresco dining, or enjoy one of the many landscapes gardens or lounge areas.

For more than 20 years, James Barker House Aged Care Centre in Footscray has provided aged care services to the local community. James Barker House specialises in providing residential aged care for everyone, with a special focus on those who are marginalised, vulnerable, or who are at risk of becoming homeless. The Centre has developed programs for people whose lifestyles have been adversely impacted by alcohol and tobacco usage to uphold their wellbeing and dignity, and support them in living a healthy and independent life as much as possible.Key services and features: • All levels of care provided including respite care, permanent care, memory support and palliative care
