Located in a safe and neighborly cul-de-sac, residents of our Rockingham community are kept engaged and made to feel part of the fabric of the local area. Whether it is quiet rest or lively interaction you are after, we are ideally situated to offer whatever you need to live the life you want.
Upon entering the 54-room residency, visitors are drawn to the dining room, host to ballroom dancing or the occasional church service. The dining room overlooks a beautiful courtyard and beyond the living area, you will find a quiet well-appointed library that overlooks a tranquil garden. This is a place where residents can enjoy a peaceful reading session or simply relax on the comfortable couches. Perhaps the only distraction is the aroma wafting from the dining room as the onsite chef and catering team serve up an array of culinary delights using locally sourced fresh produce, ranging from traditional to classic dishes, six times a day.

From the moment you walk into MercyCare Rockingham you sense it feels like home. A welcoming atmosphere, a friendly hello and our residents going about life, it’s a place you can feel comfortable in.
MercyCare Rockingham is designed to feel as close to your family home as we can. That’s why residents are encouraged to keep to their normal routines, individual wishes are supported, rooms are personalised, and staff and residents mingle and socialise together.
Our residents love the large activity room where regular activities are tailored to suit interests and residents are offered weekly pamper sessions. Residents also enjoy the light-filled, well-appointed library overlooking one of several courtyards, where you can enjoy a peaceful reading session or simply relax.
Spread across a single storey, MercyCare Rockingham has 54 large single rooms with individual temperature control and private ensuite.
Residents are an important part of the local community. Residents often visit the nearby Autumn Centre to socialise and take part in activities or connect with Tranby College students who have been visiting weekly for years.
We love when families partner with us in care and feel comfortable when visiting. Families are free to visit, maybe to celebrate a special occasion or simply to share a meal with their loved one, and with Rockingham foreshore and shopping nearby, there’s plenty of outings to choose from.
Personalised care is paramount at Rockingham Aged Care home. Qualified nurses are on duty and all residents have access to therapy activities and other health services
As with all MercyCare homes, it’s the staff that make the difference. Many of our staff have been with us for years and know the importance of working in partnership with residents and families to ensure personalised care.
