Set in the leafy streets of Dandenong Road, Margriet Village is located in Kilsyth, close to the shopping area and yet still in a position surrounded by bushland and the soft sounds of nature.
Our independent living units have been built to provide safe, affordable, attractive accommodation. The village reflect characteristics of a typical Dutch town or ‘dorp’. It offers a safe and secure environment where a resident can choose a private lifestyle or enjoy the benefits of friendship, support and shared interests within a community of likeminded individuals.
This peaceful cottage style village consists of 14 one bedroom units located next to Overbeek Lodge aged care home. There is a beautiful garden in the centre of the village. Each unit has a spacious living and dining area, kitchen, built in robes, bathroom, separate toilet and laundry. Each unit has its own garden and car park. Bus services operate from the entrance of the village to local shopping centres and Croydon railway station.
The café at Overbeek Lodge provides a great opportunity to enjoy the company of friends and families. Activities and events are organised by residents and volunteers in the community halls.
