Registered nurses

Depending on their speciality, nurses play a number of roles in caring for your health. These include helping you plan your care, managing and administrating medications, making general health checks such as check blood pressure and changing wound dressings and catheters.

As well as caring for you in hospital or at your GP surgery, nurses may also visit your home or aged care setting.
