HMC Multicultural Seniors Health & Wellness Centre-Port Stephens

HMC's Multicultural Seniors Health & Wellness Centre Cardiff operates in the Croatian Fishermen's Club, 20 Aquatic Close, Nelson Bay on Tuesdays from 9 am till 2 pm. Staff and clients attending are mostly from multicultural background. Freshly cooked three-course meals, cooked and served in a friendly and culturally harmonious environment are of the Mediterranean & mid-European-style cuisine. Additionally, a wide range of activities and information sessions organised and presented in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner, helps improve client wellbeing and reduces their social isolation. Our other centres cater for Greek, Polish, Italian, Ukrainian and mixed multicultural communities. All services provided are person-centred and culturally appropriate. Our clients are encouraged to actively participate in creating and managing their own individual care plans. Transport is not available for this centre.
