Friends at Home

Friends at Home is a boutique local service organisation, based south of the river, WA that operates both as:

• a service provider to clients discharged from hospitals under their short term State funded Home Care Package Scheme often prior to them moving to a Commonwealth Home Care Package as a longer term care option and
• a contracting service providing staff on both long and short term casual contracts to surrounding Commonwealth Home Care Package providers who have licences and may have insufficient staff themselves, to support these
• assisting private clients in their homes.

Personal Care

We all know how important it is to maintain our personal preferences for hygiene and grooming to feel good about ourselves. It can sometimes be difficult to ask for help with these very personal tasks. That is why our staff are sensitive and compassionate well trained and always ready to assist or encourage in every situation. Personal care for our clients involves assistance and support for people of all ages and care requirements. Our services are designed to enhance quality of life and independence with minimal disruption to daily routines and lifestyle with services such as: 

Showering , Drying, Dressing, Making of beds, Preparation of light lunch, Providing transport for shopping and appointments,  Assisting with breakfast, Medication reminders.

Domestic Assistance

We deliver an extensive range of domestic assistance services to clients of all ages to assist with tasks that will reduce the fatigue or discomfort often associated with general home duties. Our staff understand how important the little things can be and take great pride in offering the following cleaning services:

Washing dishes , Hanging out laundry, General vacuum, Weekly linen changes, General tidying of bathroom, kitchen and bedroom

Gardening

General Gardening, Lawn Mowing, Edging, Hedging, Whipper Snipper, Sprinkler repairs (Quoted Price), etc.

Friends at Home is a well established provider of care staff, founded in 1994 and privately owned. We aim to provide an in home service to our clients that not only offers temporary (and sometimes ongoing) assistance and support, but one that also recognises our client’s abilities and encourages their independence once again. We offer personal care assistance, domestic assistance, social support and respite.
