At Craigcare, we strive to provide a first class service for all our residents through our core values of attentiveness, warmth, pleasure in serving, respect and passion. Renowned for homely environments and comfortable surrounds, Craigcare is home to over 800 seniors in nursing homes and retirement villages across WA and Victoria.
Our sites are located in established communities to ensure our residents can remain active in many facets of their lives.
We constantly seek feedback from our residents, their families and our staff to ensure Craigcare continues to exceed the standards required to maintain our status as a Commonwealth approved and accredited aged care provider. Craigcare is committed to providing quality services and a warm and caring environment, through the employment of experienced and dedicated staff.
Convenience and accessibility have been of prime concern when visiting Craigcare facilities. Each facility and retirement village is located in the centre of an established community, thus allowing residents to remain in familiar surrounding & close to amenities. Surprisingly close to Perth CBD given the peaceful surrounding suburbs, Craigcare Maylands is the perfect combination of community, care and convenience.
Craigcare Maylands is a purpose-built 92 bed aged care facility overlooking the Swan River, Perth city and Belmont Racecourse. The home is set in a peaceful residential area, close to a range of shops, cafes and other amenities. Craigcare Maylands is the site of some new and exciting projects, some of which are currently in place in the home whilst a building expansion and redevelopment program will begin in late 2013.
Our lifestyle areas include TV and lounge rooms, a large dining room, therapy room and a large sunroom overlooking the river and racecourse. Our renowned “Anna’s Cafe” provides delicious sweet and savoury treats as well as fresh coffee most days a week. Run entirely on a voluntary basis by the award-winning Anna Nici and is truly the heart of Craigcare Maylands.
In order to provide the first class service we pride ourselves on, we employ the finest staff who share our care philosophy and core values. Our nursing staff are onsite and available around the clock which ensures the physical, mental and social wellbeing of each resident is kept at an optimum level. Craigcare Maylands caters for dementia residents.
Aside from our highly skilled and dedicated primary care teams of registered nurses, enrolled nurses and nursing assistants, we also engage the services of experienced paramedical professionals. Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry and dietetics are just some of the services we offer at Craigcare Maylands.
