We are a lively and supportive community of 200 people who enjoy our serene bushland setting with all of the benefits of living close to transport and essential services. We offer 59 retirement village units and 156 residential aged care places (including a dementia-specific unit). This range of co-located accommodation option means that regardless of changing needs residents can continue to be part of the Trinder Park community and couples can stay together.

Our onsite allied health service provides physiotherapy, podiatry and massage services to our residents and the broader community.

Residents have access to:

  • An expansive recreational activity program designed by dedicated activities staff
  • Frequent outings to local attractions, the beach, picnics and live concerts
  • A fully-equipped recreational hall offering indoor bowls, billiards and snooker
  • A media room that screens movie greats, the latest DVDs and Wii computer games profiling golf and tennis
  • A men’s club featuring activities like leather work, wood work and cards.

“Trinder Park had everything we needed and that was a big plus. I like that I don’t have a care in the world here. I don’t have to worry about the buildings or maintenance; life is just easy. I feel secure knowing I have ongoing care for the future and my changing health needs will be taken care of.” - Ruth Hinds (resident)

“Trinder Park is such a beautiful place: we have 51 acres of bushland here and I often describe it as an oasis in the middle of suburbia.” - Trinder Park Rest Home General Manager Alan Lamb

Sprawling natural bushland sets the scene for Trinder Park’s acres of landscaping. Wildlife such as wallabies, ducks and parrots are regular visitors.

Several areas feature seasonal splashes of colour and there are plenty of spots to sit and observe nature or share a meal with visitors.

We believe the garden can be a source of great pleasure. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the garden, through pruning plants in the garden beds or tending potted plants.
