With a style and charm all its own, Bupa Merrimac has lovely landscaped gardens and courtyards providing the perfect setting for residents, relatives and friends to catch up. Residents and their families enjoy the wonderful outdoor entertaining area taking advantage of the tranquil setting to participate in plenty of barbecues, while alfresco dining is a favourite amongst the residents during the warmer months.
We want you to feel at home. Whether you need a little more space to yourself or prefer the company of others, our single rooms give you space to move and express your style. A combination of low care, high care respite care, ageing in place and specialised dementia care ensures you get the level of care you need, while living the life you want.
Reflecting the care needs of our residents, Bupa Merrimac has taken an innovative approach to dementia care. Our staff have undertaken dementia specific training, developed in conjunction with mental health experts to ensure they have the increased knowledge and understanding necessary to care for our residents with dementia.
The strong and close knit team of residents and staff take every opportunity to embrace our local community. We understand that community ties are important and we encourage our residents to get involved and stay connected. Our extensive lifestyle program allows us to embrace the wider community with regular bus trips, concerts by local performers and regular outings.
