Aged Care Summit

The aged care sector is going through a period of transformational change. The government is leading the change with the introduction of the Consumer Directed Care (CDC) initiative which is driving forward a consumer driven, market based and sustainable aged care system for all Australians.

From the 27 February funding for a home care package will follow the consumer and they will be in charge of deciding where they spend their money, on what services and with which provider.

In light of this reform, aged care providers need to be more customer centric than ever before which is driving the internal transformation and reassessment of delivery models to ensure they transition to a contemporary service in a competitive market place.

The Aged Care Summit is held as part of the Australian Healthcare Week 2017, 8 - 10 March, 2017 at International Convention Centre in Sydney.
