Aged Care Reform Conference 2021

Returning for its second year, the two day virtual event will be provided as a virtual event as a platform for discussion about big changes in the sector, particularly with the ongoing Aged Care Royal Commission and the new quality and safety standards.

The event will explore what we can learn from the Royal Commission and what needs to be done to improve care for older people in Australia.

This year's Aged Care Reform Conference will take stock of how the industry is tracking with the new standards and spent time looking at areas that can improve, what challenges the sector will face and the next steps that need to be taken for reform.

Key topics for the event include future planning and prevention for infectious diseases control from entering into your RACF; implementing change based on recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aged Care; the case of codifying elder abuse – putting humanity at the heart of ageing reform; dementia care is aged care; preventing negligence in RACFs; and much more.
