Avondrust Village is located in Carrum Downs, adjacent to the park and shops. It comprises 32 well appointed units.
The units comprise two-bedrooms with built-in robes, a spacious living and dining area, kitchen and a combined bathroom and laundry. Each unit has its own garden and garage. Ample parking is available for visitors.
You can enjoy social interaction in the Avondrust Hall, including fundraising events and functions throughout the year. In addition, the Over 50s Seniors Club encourages community involvement through a wide range of social activities. A kiosk is run by a team of volunteers and sells a variety of Dutch products.
You do not need to concern yourself about home and garden maintenance as this is carried out by our staff. For further information about retirement living, or to arrange a visit to the villages, please contact DutchCare. Please note that there may be a waiting list.
DutchCare’s villages provide a safe and comfortable environment for independent living. They each reflect characteristics of a typical Dutch town or ‘dorp’. Activities and events are organised by residents and volunteers in the community halls to enjoy real Dutch ‘gezelligheid’. Friends and family are always welcome to come and visit – it is your home.
