Here at Delamore Retirement Community every day offers you something different, depending on how the mood takes you.
There is a myriad of enjoyable pursuits: having a game of billiards, afternoon coffee or drinks on the elegant back verandah, finding a book in the library and relaxing in the exquisite library, beautifully decorated with antique furniture to fit the period of the house.
Residents gather for Monday morning bingo, or a Thursday game of cards in the library. Invite your friends and sit back and enjoy the beautiful gardens.
Come and make an appointment with our regular Hairdresser, Amanda, who visits every Thursday. The Podiatrist visits fortnightly, and the Optometrist holds a clinic every three months.
Missionary Franciscan Sisters provide Pastoral Care for residents within the community and Mass is celebrated in the Chapel twice a week.
Students from the nearby schools, Mt Alvernia College, St Anthony’s School and Padua College often join the residents for acuppa and a chat or entertainment. They also provide much appreciated assistance with small tasks around the village. It is wonderful to engage with the young people in our community.
Delamore Retirement Community has its own in-house TV channel and each Saturday afternoon and evening you can tune in and watch movies, documentaries or popular TV series.
