Colbrow Homecare has been providing nursing care, including palliative care, to clients in their homes since 1957. Through palliative care at home, your loved one can spend their remaining days in familiar surroundings with the people they love. Our nurses are experienced in addressing the healthcare needs of patients with cancer and other life limiting and terminal illness. They are also equipped to provide emotional and psychological support for patients and their family members during what can be a very trying time.
Colbrow Homecare has enabled hundreds of people to remain in the familiarity of home for their final days by providing expert palliative care services. Working closely with our clients, their families, doctors, pharmacists and other health providers, we provide our clients with the peace of mind that their care needs will be met in the comfort of their own home.
We provide support services from a one-hour respite to 24-hour home nursing care. As everyone is different, we conduct a comprehensive in-home consultation which allows us to identify patient needs and tailor a suitable homecare plan. We also work closely with community palliative care service providers to ensure appropriate services are engaged with our clients.
Our Registered Nurses and Carers are highly experienced and trained in palliative care and provide all services in the palliative approach, these services include:
- Emotional support for clients and families
- Medication Management & Administration
