Our residents can relax in friendly and welcoming surroundings at Churches of Christ Care Moonah Park Aged Care Service Mitchelton. Located in the convenient suburb of Mitchelton,
currently 98 residents live in high and low level care at Moonah Park. The facility is close to Brookside Shopping Centre, public transport and local parks.
A two-storey building provides both high and low level care for 98 permanent and respite residents. Residents have their own room with ensuite facilities, emergency call and built-in wardrobes, and the building has reverse cycle airconditioning throughout.
Also, three house-model homes provide accommodation for residents with dementia with spacious bedrooms and private ensuite facilities. Each cottage contains 12 beds and there is also one respite bed. Thirty-seven residents receive specialised care in a secure environment.
A large multipurpose community centre is used regularly for events and lifestyle activities. Moonah Park has beautiful lawns and gardens, and a gazebo for residents to relax in. One respite room is also available.
The staff at Churches of Christ Care Moonah Park Aged Care Service have a strong commitment not only to provide physical care, but to also enrich the lives of residents. Social, emotional and spiritual needs are met wherever possible. The following facilities and services are provided:
