Caring for an elderly loved one is rewarding, but it can be challenging too. Our Community and Respite Hubs support carers by providing day-long respite care for seniors and, the opportunities for individuals to enrich their daily lives with activities, exercise, good food and friends.
Designed for seniors who require entry-level care supports to retain their independence through a range of Government-funded services, including social support, respite care and many more. This is a multi-service program designed for seniors who require entry-level care support to retain their independence through a range of government-funded services, such as domestic assistance, personal care, social support, transport, centre-based daycare, etc.

One of the great things about getting older is that you have more time to devote to your favourite hobbies and interests. Not only is this a lot of fun, but having a hobby or leisure activity is also really important for overall health and wellbeing. Chung Wah CAC’s Evergreen College offers seniors a range of activities, outings and classes based on individual interests.
Nurture your wellbeing, beyond the day-to-day, by learning a new skill, enjoying a hobby, and making new friends. Chung Wah CAC’s Evergreen College program supports seniors to stay healthy, happy and active by offering a range of activities, classes, outings and opportunities for social interaction. Our professional and passionate staff are bilingual, and activities are tailored to cater for individuals from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. We aim to support you to enjoy life and live it to the full.
We offer a range of classes, including:
- Computer Class
- Tai Chi
- Memory Support
- Chinese Calligraphy
WHO IS IT FOR
Australian Residents AND;
over sixty-five (65) years-of-age OR;
Less than sixty-five (65) years-of-age and meet Disability requirements OR;
50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
