About
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) was established to help senior Australians access entry-level support services to live independently and safely at home. It goes without saying that Chung Wah Community & Aged Care places an importance in wellness approach in our service delivery to assist seniors maintain their independence as long as they can. We believe that age does not define what you can and cannot do, and many seniors are able to achieve their care goals with the right support.
Through this program, not only can Chung Wah Community & Aged Care provide a range of culturally appropriate in-home services such as domestic assistance, personal care, social support and transport, flexible respite but we also offer our consumers the opportunities to participate in reablement activities wherever appropriate.
Moreover, we also provide social support and flexible respite care at our Community Hubs with wellness-embedded programs that go beyond your day-to-day activities. You can enrich your social network by meeting new people from different cultural backgrounds, learn a new skill at our Evergreen College and enjoy social outings with your CAC friends. We have 2 hubs located in both North & South of the river for your convenience.

- Australian Residents AND;
- over sixty-five (65) years-of-age OR;
- 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
