The New St. Vincent’s!
We are excited to announce our new St Vincent’s facility will be opening in Guildford this December 2019, offering 85 single rooms with ensuites plus a couple’s suite with a double bed and sitting room. The new St Vincent’s will set the standard in how aged care should be delivered; incorporating our model of care ‘Care with Purpose’ and the latest technology for both our residents, their families and our staff.
The redevelopment will include Wi-Fi, TVs and individual temperature controls. Designed to be sympathetic to the environment with interior design details and finishes developed by industry experts, large windows invite the outside in and many of the light and airy rooms in the Olive and Swan wings will have river or tree views.
St Vincent’s is set in the leafy and picturesque suburb of Guildford, which is renowned for its old-world charm. The residence itself sits right on the banks of the Swan River, with uninterrupted views of the water and surrounding countryside. If you love the rural life and natural landscape, you'll feel at home in our tranquil and relaxing community.
At Catholic Homes our staff and residents are looking forward to moving into their new residence! We understand there is nothing better than feeling at home and at St Vincent’s we offer a unique environment to help you feel at home with us. Please contact Lorraine Wallis on either (08) 9279 5055 or via email, Lorraine.Wallis@catholichomes.com for further information on our redevelopment. Come and see the difference at St Vincent’s!
Care with Purpose, our Montessori Model of Care
Catholic Homes ‘Care with Purpose’ is based on Montessori principles and incorporates our Core Values of Joy, Love and Hospitality. We promote independence by encouraging and supporting people to do as much as possible for themselves and achieve their potential. We encourage and support people living with us to continue to make decisions about what they want to do with their day. Residents get involved with activities, such as helping in the dining room, and are given roles to give them purpose. Our care is centred on knowledge of their past, their current abilities and their physical, social and emotional needs.
