McQuoin Park promotes a philosophy that recognises the value and individuality of our residents. The existing retirement community comprises 34 units that share a bush setting with our residential aged care community catering for the needs of high and low level care residents.
Re-development of McQuoin Park will start soon. With the upgrade and expansion of McQuoin Park, stage one includes a new 105 bed residential aged care service for frail older people and people with dementia, 21 retirement living units and a continuation of community day care services.
Future stages include the development of approximately 150 retirement living units and associated community facilities.
McQuoin Park can be reached by car from the Pacific Highway via Unwin Rd from Hornsby and Yardley Avenue from the city.
Bus services are located along the Pacific Highway for Hornsby and the Hills Districts. The Waitara rail station is a short stroll along the highway and access is available from gates to McQuoin Park along the Pacific Highway.
