The Carers’ Counselling, Information and Support Service offers assistance with understanding and managing situations, behaviours and relationships associated with the caregiving role.
This service includes the provision of advice, information and referral by professionally qualified and experienced staff.
We encourage carers to put a focus on their own wellbeing – that is, their mental spiritual and physical health.
We support carers to balance their own needs with the needs of those they care for. This allows care to continue in a more sustainable way.
Carers residing in the West Moreton region are eligible for assistance. The program is located at Riverview Gardens Aged Care Plus Centre, Moggill Ferry Rd, Riverview and is part of The Salvation Army’s Community Care Services. You may contact Reception on (07) 3282 1000 or use the number above.
