Overview
The Burger Centre offers a diverse range of activities for seniors to continue to feel connected with the community with a strong sense of purpose and fulfilment.
Our activities are perfect for people wanting to meet new people, remain active and be connected to community or for carers wanting safe and inclusive respite for those living with cognitive impairment such as dementia.
Our clients can enjoy a range of programs tailored to suit you. Offerings including guest speakers, live entertainment, movies in our in-house theatre, discussion groups, intergenerational programs and volunteering along with art, land and aqua based exercise, excursions, and more. Burger Centre also runs days and programs specially tailored to the Russian-speaking community.
We are situated in Randwick in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and the North Shore and offer bus transport to support access to our centre. Burger Centre is a joint partnership between Montefiore and Jewish Care and is supported by communal and Commonwealth Home Support Funding.
