For almost 90 years BSL has worked with and supported people of all ages to live a good life. We believe that at every stage of life, people should feel safe, valued, connected to the wider community, and able to take part in the activities they choose.

We provide flexible support to help you stay at home in familiar surroundings, close to the people and places you value, while keeping your independence.

We know care is about more than tasks. It’s about feeling respected and in control — and giving families and carers peace of mind that there’s a trusted team around you. You can choose as much or as little help as you like, including shopping, meals, light household tasks, personal care, wellbeing check-ins and practical support to stay safe at home. We’ll take the time to understand what matters to you, then work with you (and your family or carer, if you want) to create a plan that fits your routines and can change as your needs change.
