About our Community
Our Red Hill Social Club provides day respite for the elderly and people with low to medium level dementia. The centre is available from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 3pm on Saturdays. We aim to relieve carer stress by providing a positive, friendly and secure environment with trained and dedicated staff. Lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea are provided and clients who are able may be involved in the preparation. Transport to and from the social club may be arranged for those people who require it.
We offer an activities program, and maintenance of the client’s safety and well-being is maintained through constant supervision. This means working carers have peace of mind to attend work knowing that the person they care for is safe and happy.
Clients need to be continent and able to walk to attend.
Why choose BaptistCare?
We are proud of our facilities, our grounds and our activities – but most of all, we are proud of our community. This is what makes BaptistCare special. We are a community of people who respect one another’s individuality, and who value the support and friendship that comes from an improved quality of life. We are passionate about life transforming care. This is because we practise it every day, in countless ways. At BaptistCare we encourage independence whilst strongly valuing the connections we share within our community. This is the BaptistCare difference. Together, we provide care you can trust.
