Armadale Lifestyle Village is a small, privately owned village of 23 single-storey villas, tucked behind a secure gate access in central Armadale with the Darling Ranges rising just behind us. We were established in 1996 and have grown slowly and carefully over four stages, which is why the gardens are mature, the streets are quiet and most of our residents know each other by name.
This is a place for people who still run their own lives. Our residents look after themselves, come and go as they please, travel when they feel like it, and bring in their own home care or community nursing if and when they need a hand. Live-in carers are welcome, and a husband or wife can continue living here after a partner passes away. The villas are freshly painted with new flooring, two and three bedrooms, all on one level with no steps to manage, a step-free shower with grab rails, air conditioning, a private courtyard, a lock-up store and your own carport at the door. We look after the lawns and gardens, and the community amenities room is there whenever residents want to get together for a barbecue or family gathering.
Because we're a small private village, there's no head office and no sales team — you deal directly with the people who run the place. Villas are held on a long-term lease rather than a purchase of title, so there's no stamp duty to pay.
