For those still living in the community, we provide in-home services and support in the comfort and familiar surrounds of their home through a government-funded Level 1, 2, 3 or 4 home care package. By collaborating closely with clients, we empower them to make informed choices about the services that they receive.

Our in-home services
You choose how often we visit, be that once a week, once a day or all day, every day.
Here are just a few of the things we can help with when we visit:
• Transport to engagements or appointments
• Personal hygiene
• Domestic duties, such as meal preparation, grocery shopping and housework
• One-on-one companionship & social support
• In-home respite
• 24-hour support
• Other duties as required
If you require a service outside of the support services that Arcare deliver, we have partnerships with other organisations that can assist, We will organise this for you and can include services such as home and garden maintenance.
Government-funded Home Care Packages
Eligibility for a Home Care Package is determined by the Government’s Aged Care Assessment Team. Depending on the amount of support you require, the government will assign you to a Level 1, 2, 3 or 4.
A Level 1 or 2 Home Care Package is assigned to those who require low level support, while a Level 3 or 4 Home Care Package helps those who require high level support.
We can discuss this option with you and help step you through, including assisting with the process of registering with My Aged Care.
We match your Personal Support Worker to your preferences and support requirements.
You have choice in nominating team members that best suit your needs and personal preferences; for example, similar values, background, personality, culture and spoken languages.
