The ANZAC Day Therapy Centre is located in the beautiful Kamesburgh Gardens just a few minutes walk from tranquil Brighton Beach. The centre offers a variety of individual and group Allied Health therapies as well as innovative social support programs.
Our Allied Health therapy programs are designed to support individuals with chronic or post-acute health conditions. The programs incorporate exercise, physiotherapy, pain management therapy and/or strength and balance classes, which advance each participant’s health and enable them to continue to function independently in their own homes. Our day therapy clients exercise under the guidance of our professional therapy team and also learn techniques to enable them to build their strength and muscle tone at home.
The centre’s social support program maintains a strong focus on the values of the ex-service community and proudly upholds our country’s core principles: mateship, respect, dignity and looking out for your friend and neighbours. We recognise and respect the history and background of our clients and encourage them to share their stories with us as well as with each other and the local community. Our innovative social support program evolves continuously in response to our client’s needs.
The flexibility of the Day Centre’s program allows clients to attend whole day programs, half day programs or specific day therapy classes. Clients also have the option of purchasing a two-course hot lunch from us or bringing their own.
To get started or to find out more, please contact us by phone on (03) 9596 4258 and one of our friendly staff will answer your questions and guide you through the application process. Based on your health needs and interests, we can recommend a suitable day to attend the program.
