A weekly exercise program focused on improved balance developed by Monash University. Balance exercises are progressed each week to challenge and continued improvement. Participants are reviewed after 15 weeks

Parallel Pole Dancing
Choreographed dance moves to music with the safety of the parallel bars.
Gentle seated exercises to improve strength and promote movement.
Benefit from a team approach by an exercise physiologist, physiotherapist and occupational therapist in this 12 week group program. Designed to enable individuals with Parkinson’s Disease to improve their health and well-being through the use of exercise.
Hand Wax Bath
Paraffin wax baths have been used for centuries to treat joint and muscle pain. Wax baths can assist in reducing stiffness in joints, relaxing muscles, increasing circulation and moisturising the skin.
Massage reduces muscle tension, maintains flexibility and improves circulation.
Mat based exercise class which involves gentle stretches and Pilates exercises. This class can improve posture and movement, increase muscle strength and flexibility, improve balance and reduce chronic lower back pain.
Learn to relax your mind and body in this calming 6-week program. Techniques include Deep Breathing, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Guided Imagery and Meditation.
Strength & Fitness
Receive an individualised exercise program combining cardio and strength-based exercises, to develop muscle strength and increase fitness. Individuals complete their tailored exercise program in a friendly, supportive and supervised group setting within the gym.
