Anglicare Lemongrove Gardens

Lemongrove Gardens is a residential aged care home located in Penrith, at the door of the magnificent Blue Mountains. It is situated in close proximity to Nepean Hospital, Penrith shopping centre and Penrith and Kingswood railway stations. This home has been designed over two levels with common areas on both floors. It has accommodation for 59 residents, all rooms have a private ensuite and balcony or courtyard access.

Residents have access to a range of recreational, social and health services.

Person-centred care is at the forefront of this home’s design with private en suite bathrooms, care within dedicated groups and spaces for respite and palliative care. As residents’ needs change, we strive to enable them to ‘age in place’ and receive ongoing care without the need to change rooms.

Lemongrove Gardens has a dedicated lifestyle team to provide regular activities for residents. This team also facilitates our Rhythm of Life® program, giving residents a choice in how they spend their day from meals to activities, outings and more.

Common areas

• Dining Room: Located adjacent to the lower lounge area with direct access to outdoors.
• Lounge areas: The lower lounge has a large flat screen television, stereo and access to a large paved covered terrace. The upper lounge overlooks the lower lounge area and has a pool table and a library corner.
• Courtyard areas: The central courtyard has landscaped gardens, raised garden beds, BBQ and a children’s playground.
• Laundries: Small washing machines are on-site for residents to do their personal laundry. Otherwise, laundry is cleaned off-site at the Anglicare laundry facility.
• Clinic / Treatment rooms: Located on the ground floor.
• Hairdressing salon: Purpose-built hairdressing salon located on the first floor. Services include a fee.
