Alzheimer's Australia WA provides a wide range of courses for people with dementia and their carers and nationally recognised courses for health and aged care personnel.
Non accredited dementia training and courses for professional staff, families/carers, volunteers and people in the community with dementia are free of charge.
Nationally Recognised Training
Nationally recognised courses, training units and workshops for health & aged care professionals and staff in dementia care are often held throughout the year and may be offered in the workplace upon request.
Most workshops have been endorsed by APEC No. 090428002 as authorised by Royal College of Nursing, Australia (RCNA) according to RCNA approved criteria.
Attendance at these workshops attract RCNA Continuing Nurse Education (CNE) points as part of RCNA’s Life Long Learning Program (3LP).
