Aboriginal Advocacy (ARAS)
About
The Aboriginal Advocacy service provides confidential, culturally sensitive services and approaches across all ARAS advocacy services.
The Aboriginal Advocacy service assists older Aboriginal people (or their representatives) who are:
- living in residential aged care or retirement village
- receiving home care services
- at risk of, or experiencing abuse from family or friends
The primary aim of the service is to ensure that older Aboriginal people have access to accurate and timely information about their rights and protections relating to the provision of aged care services.
