A DECADE OF SERVICE
1997 saw the emergence of Arcare’s first residential aged care facility with the establishment in Melbourne’s north, of the Latrobe Private Hostel at Reservoir. In the last five years Arcare has taken a strategic course of growth through development and acquisition which has expanded our portfolio to 11 sites being operational or coming on line in 2007/08.

OUR CARE MODEL
Our care emphasis is focussed on the wellness of our residents in a homely environment with professional and experienced care staff providing an extensive range of therapeutic and lifestyle activities. All facilities are fully accredited and services range from low care (hostel) to high care (nursing home) with most offering ‘Ageing in Place’ and some with 'Sensitive Care Units' (i.e. Dementia specific care).

RESIDENT PRIVACY
All residents enjoy privacy as most facilities provide private rooms with ensuite bathrooms, tasteful decor and staff that love their work.

OPTIONS OF EXTRA SERVICE
This level of service is currently available at 30% of our Melbourne facilities. We are committed to an environment and atmosphere that allows residents to enjoy their home and to feel truly at ease communicating their needs and aspirations to our caring staff team.

COMMUNITY CARE SERVICE
The successful establishment of Arcare at Home in 2005 enhances our caring capacity for all age groups not just the elderly in our community.

34 beds in total. 12 secure dementia beds.
