At Bupa New Farm we actively support and promote resident independence and individuality in a relaxed atmosphere while maintaining the highest level of care at all times. Focussing on how each person is unique allows us to understand the needs and preferences of our residents and we believe in going that ‘extra mile’ so that you get the level of care you need while living the life you want.
Reflecting the care needs of our residents, Bupa New Farm has taken an innovative approach to dementia care. Our staff have undertaken dementia specific training, developed in conjunction with mental health experts to ensure they have the increased knowledge and understanding necessary to care for our residents with dementia.
You can make yourself at home in one of our spacious single rooms and you can let your personality and values shine through by bringing in personal items and those special mementos that we all gather through life.
At Bupa New Farm we encourage all family and friends to get involved in what’s happening in our home and take a proactive approach to the individual care of their loved one. Our regular resident and relative meetings ensure that you’re kept up-to-date with what’s happening in our home as well as being an opportunity to offer any suggestions you have.
